Position: NCLEX® Program Reports Program Manager

This is a full-time telecommuting position, available August 15, 2016.

The primary job responsibilities of the NCLEX® Program Reports Program Manager fall into two broad categories, business development and customer support. Each of these is described below.

About half of the eligible nursing education programs subscribe to the NCLEX® Program Reports. Mountain Measurement has set a goal to reach 2/3 of the programs by the end of 2017. Current program outreach is minimal. Mountain Measurement would like the new manager to begin using social media, nursing education conferences, and nursing education journals as vehicles to reach out to new subscribers.

The NCLEX® Program Reports is serviced by a web-based, email, and call support center. Customer support activities require full-time effort in the autumn when the subscription renewal season occurs. During the winter and spring, customer support activities require 25-50% time and the summer is less than 10%. Current customer support involves the following:

  • Guiding new customers through the registration and ordering process
  • Order and payment processing and tracking
  • Servicing customers through inbound and outbound phone calls and email
  • Creating, tracking, and resolving support trouble tickets
  • Analyzing and reporting on product orders and payments
  • Issuing and processing past-due payment notices
  • Supporting users through the end-of-year change in leadership process
  • Notifying customers via email campaigns when reports are available
  • Configuring and fulfilling auto-renew orders

Mountain Measurement has also recently began providing professional development seminars to nursing educators to help them use the information contained in the Reports (See ). The NCLEX® Program Reports Program Manager will be responsible for coordinating the production of each event, advertising and supporting attendees with the registration process.

The NCLEX® Program Reports Program Manager will be required to work from home during regular business hours 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM Mon-Fri. Attendance at occasional meetings with other staff members in the Portland metro area will be necessary. The position requires high-speed internet access and a quiet dedicated office space by which to talk to customers. A computer will be provided.

During the autumn, the NCLEX® Program Reports Program Manager will be primarily involved in end-user support activities. During the other seasons, the NCLEX® Program Reports Program Manager will be engaged in business development activities.
